One slowish afternoon, the kids and I started to pull together an app that they wanted to play with – Spottysitter. After a few weeks and robust field testing by the 9, 7, 5 and 2 year old Spottysitter got the big 2-thumbs up.
The attraction is that they can add spots to the screen, grow the spots, shake them about and can tap the spots off (to a vibration). I must admit the 2 year old gets mighty possessive and directs proceedings.
I’ll try to get some more insight on how much hand eye co-ordination improves but at this stage there is a marked improvement, as well as hours of entertainment.
Here’s the link to it. Please feel free to provide feedback on it, and to rate it.
